I. Creating Pop Art for Special Effect

A. Design from Image Information

1) Duplicate the Background layer by dragging the layer to the copy Cpy.

Image>Grayscale   Color Balance


2) Go to Image>Adjust>Invert, change the Blend Mode to Luminosity and reduce the Layer Opacity to 50%.

3) Duplicate Background Layer and place this layer on top of all Layers. Change the Blend Mode to Multiply.

4) Go to Image>Adjust>Threshold and move slider for info. Click OK.

* Move the slider back and forth to reveal image information.

5) Highlight the middle layer and go to Image>Adjust>Hue/Saturation to enhance color detail by increasing Saturation. Click OK.

6) The final image displays an Andy Warhol Pop Art simulation.
