Photoshop Automated Web Gallery
Create a personal photo web gallery using the Automated functions in Photoshop.

1) Prepare Images - Place at least five prepared images (prints) into a named folder.


2) Select Function - In Photoshop go to File>Automate>Web Photo Gallery.

File>Automate



3) Create Gallery


a) Styles - Choose from a variety of web display formats for gallery.

b) Email - Type in e-mail contact information.

c) Source Images

1) Choose named folder which contains prints from Step 1.
2) The Destination folder will store web files and info.
3) Create new folder named "public_html" for Destination.

d) Options

1) General - Choose Extension - .html
2) Banner - Complete text fields accordingly.
3) Large Images - Check Resize Images. Medium Quality.
4) Thumbnails - Set Size to Medium. # of Columns/Rows.
5) Custom Colors - Set Background/Text color, etc.
6) Security - Ignore.


4) Select OK. Standby while Photoshop automatically creates optimized web gallery.

* Do not move files and documents around inside the "public_html" folder once the Web Gallery Automation is completed. This can result in broken links and images.


5) Fetch Upload - Use Fetch software (or other FTP) to upload the "public_html" folder through FTP to your designated student server space for web display.
